Hertfordshire is a great county to live in. Historical St Albans with it’s Roman history, the historic cathedral, excellent schools and easy rail access to London frequently makes it into the top 10 places to live according to various surveys. Nearby Hemel Hempstead has had some serious investment made in both property, business and the town centre making it a real business hub – both in the old town and the larger Maylands business area. Watford boasts excellent shopping facilities and is on the main train route from Euston to Birmingham whilst Welwyn Garden City retains all the green spaces that gave it its name. To the north of the county, Stevenage offers more affordable housing and is on the main East Coast line from London to Edinburgh and Letchworth is within easy commuting distance of both London and Cambridge.
Part of our job at Home Property Finders is to bring our clients the real local knowledge so that wherever they move in the county they can feel at home – settled, safe and, if they want to be, part of the community.
